Payment and Refund

You can choose to do your treatment through your health insurance or our private practice.

Our clinic does not have a contract with any health insurance, therefore payment is made through reimbursement. All health insurance companies reimburse treatment at different percentages depending on the insurance and plan you have taken out. If your health insurance does not cover 100% of the total cost of treatment, the patient pays the remaining amount.

We follow each insurer's price lists and never know what the total cost of a treatment will be.

It includes consultation time, communications via email and telephone, supervision, study, research, home consultation, case study, session preparation, etc.

PAYMENT

If you have Dutch health insurance, the invoice for the payment of psychotherapy will be sent to your address after a few months. You will have to forward this invoice to the insurance. Check out the step-by-step below.

1. Receive the invoice at home

As we do not have contracts with insurance companies, invoices are sent to your home. Therefore, it is always important that you let us know if you change address.

2. Send the invoice to your insurance

You must then declare this invoice to your insurance company within a maximum period of five working days.

You can do this via letter, email or through your insurance company's website/application, depending on the insurance company.

3. Wait for the refund

After declaring the invoice to your insurance, you will receive a response from it, usually by mail or email, about the percentage that will be reimbursed by the insurance company.

A few days later, you will receive a refund to the bank account associated with your insurance.

4. Transfer the reimbursed amount

You must transfer the amount within a maximum period of five working days, to the IBAN indicated on the invoice.

In case the health plan reimburses only part of the treatment, the patient will need to pay the remaining part.
